Eating my sweet breakfast (I will no doubt die at an early age due to my diet), I ran upon this modern day addendum to The Screwtape Letters. I am one who has never read the classic by C.S. Lewis but this new "letter" is most excellent at shining light on how the enemy quite possibly wages war against the modern day Christ Follower. If you have 15 minutes sometime this week, check it out. If you don't have 15 minutes, maybe you still need to check it out & ask yourself why do you not have 15 minutes to spare?
Blessings!

A Screwtape Letter For the Media Age, by BC founder Erik Lokkesome:
"Make them feel empty without a Blackberry on their hip or a television blaring in the background. Tune their alarm clock to a raucous station with bombastic DJs. Call their cell phones on their way to work or during a meal. Put TV screens in banks and hotel lobbies, gas stations and airplanes - anywhere humans might have time to reflect. Offer deals to Walt Disney World and casinos, and make a weekend in the Catskills appear unexciting or at least unaffordable. Over time the humans will grow unaware of the high-pitched ringing in their ears." Full article here:
